measuringyourdog

To get a good fit for clothing for your dog we need accurate measurements to work with and the more measurements we have the better the fit for the dog

If you do not have a soft measuring tape you can use a string and then measure the string against a ruler or yardstick

The above diagram shows the places on the dog to measure

Please give the actual measurements do not add to them, if you want a (eg)snowsuit to fit over other clothing just say so and we will add to the measurements ourselves

Line A-  Topline  this is the back length from the base of the neck to the top of the tail

Line B-  Neck where the dogs collar sits

Line C-  Chest/Girth  measure around the widest part of the chest

Line D-  Waist measure around the waist right behind the ribs

Line E- Front Leg length  measure from the armpit to the ankle

Line F- Back Leg length  measure from the groin to the ankle

Line G- Front chest  measure from where the collar on the neck sits down the front on the chest to in between the 2 front legs

Line H- Between Front legs  measure the distance between the 2 front legs

If you have any questions or concerns at all please feel free to email us and we will help in any way we can.
